DEL Season 2 had three matches on the program yesterday. The match versus wooSai and chemistry, however, was wildcarded and postponed. Even though the match was wildcarded, DEL still had good entertainment to offer. Gravitas was seeking revenge against SoA after their recent loss in EPS Denmark, and ideal could only impress against Denmark's number one, mTw. In their meeting with SoA, revengeful Gravitas had a very bad start. At train, the team was completely massacred by ArcadioN & Co. and was defeated with impressing 16-3. Switching map to inferno, the roles were suddenly switched. Gravitas was in complete control for the most of the map and won 16-10 - and the story repeated itself at dust2. Therefore, Gravitas won the match with 2-1. mTw was without a doubt the favourite to win the match against ideal. They started out as expected on train, winning 16-5 - but at inferno, ideal suddenly became the superior team. Surprisingly, mTw lost the second map with 16-9. mTw did, however, what was expected of them, taking home the third and final map - dust2 - with 16-6.
With the two matches played, wooSai, mTw, and Gravitas is on top with a win each while SoA is found in the bottom with two losses. For league standings, results, and demos, drop by our coverage site. |
